Heart Blood Flow

Left atrium
function: pumps blood to the left ventricle
Blood type: both blood types

Left ventricle
function:pumps blood to all the tissues all over the body
Blood type: oxyganated

Right ventricle
function: pumps blood to the pulmonary artery and then to the lungs
Blood type: deoxygenated

Right atrium
function: it pumps blood into the right ventricle and then sends it to the lungs after
Blood type: deoxygenated

Pulmonary artery
function: transfers deoxygenated blood from right ventricle to the lungs
Blood type: deoxygenated

Aorta
function: is a type of chamber that pumps blood to the aortic valve
Blood type : oxygenated

Pulmonary veins
function: has the job to carry oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium
Blood type: deoxygenated

Superior vena cava
function: carries and brings oxygenated blood to the lower part of the body
Blood type: deoxygenated

Inferior vena cava
function: brings deoxygenated blood to the right atrium

Atrioventricular valves
function: lets blood flow from the atria to the ventricles
Blood type: both

Semi lunar valves
function: has the control of moving back into the ventricle
